Provisioning of QoS through Bandwidth Trading

QoS assurance is a challenging task in unreliable networks. One of the reasons for unreliability in networks is the shortage of network resources under peak load conditions. Providing additional network resources is a possible solution for managing SLAs in unreliable networks. On demand market of bandwidth provides a good source for acquiring the necessary network resources from foreign networks, inter-connection to which could be achieved by pooling points. A mechanism that uses Bandwidth Trading to acquire the network resources from foreign networks that provide required resources on demand to avoid possible SLA violations and achieve QoS assurance is proposed.
